It finally arrived – wedding day! Today was filled with joy and family. We all got up in the morning and went downstairs to eat breakfast buffet with Tim, Steve and Junior in the hotel restaurant. We figured we’d better fill the guys up, since they wouldn’t be eating again until dinner at the reception.
After breakfast, all the guys went up to their hotel rooms to put on their tuxedos. Andrew and Aiden looked so handsome! It was really cool. Then they took off to the church where they would prepare for the ceremony and take pictures.

Maria and Jeremy got ready after the guys took off. He looked so cute in his little button-up shirt, vest and tie. He even had little mini dress shoes – kid ready (they velcroed shut)!

We all met up at the church about an hour before the ceremony. It was getting exciting! Madison and family arrived to get her ready for her flower girl role. Maria said she looked like Belle in her golden dress! Vavo and Vavu arrived, so Vavu could get dressed in his tux. Peter, Nai and Luke arrived, dressed quite handsomely in their matching blue attire! Little baby Luke even had on mini tuxedo pants – with the silk stripe down the leg and everything! Too cute!

Soon, it was time to start. We all went inside, and the moms were escorted in. Then the wedding began. It was a traditional Catholic ceremony – with a full Mass. Tim and Heather looked really happy. It was special to be there with them on this day. Aiden did a really good job as ring bearer. He escorted Madison and took his job quite seriously. In true 2-year-old fashion, Jeremy decided he needed the bathroom as soon as the wedding started. Maria tried to hold him off, telling him he’d go after the ceremony. He made it about halfway through, then mentioned his need again. Finally, when it was time for communion, he said sternly, “Mommy I need to poo poo”! Needless to say, Maria and Jeremy missed communion.
After the ceremony and family photo time, we all drove to the reception at Finnigan’s Hall. We ate appetizers and mingled while the wedding party stayed behind to take more photos. After the wedding party arrived, dinner and dancing began. Drew toasted the newly wedded couple (in the appropriate family vein of humor). Then we did cake and more dancing.Maria with the boys during the mother-son dance (all moms were invited)
Cake smashing time!

Vavu during the father-daughter dance (all 4 daughters shared - Dionne's head is hidden, but you can see her legs)!

Another fun dance was the money dance $$$. Tim’s sisters had lots of fun pinning on money in all sorts of inappropriate places. :-) Heather raked in the ca$h, tho! Something about being the bride that just brings in those bucks! The evening was really enjoyable. A lot of people had their charicatures drawn by a local artist who was drawing in the lobby for Heather and Tim’s collection of family cartoons. So their collection should grow by a lot by the time they get home!
They took off for their honeymoon the next morning on an early flight to Florida. They’ll be on a cruise for quite a while before we see them again! Congratulations, Tim & Heather! We love u!
Inappropriate dollar placement (you should see his butt)

Aiden and the kids LOVED dancing! Here he is showing off some of his moves...
